Is that this stick drift ?

So I purchased a Collection X controller 2 months in the past, however lately i seen an enormous downside : after I totally push the left stick up, then launch to carry out a combo, my character typically (20~30% likelihood) fully turns round and ruins my combo. I'm guessing the rebounce is simply too arduous and the sport register it as a flip round command. Its actually messing my gameplay up. Is that this a stick drift so I can get a guaranty straight away?
